Big Adventures with Cousin Jun

Happy Tuesday, little explorers!

The morning sun peeked through the tall bamboo as Lumo adjusted his rainbow sunglasses and smiled.
Today was special.
His big cousin, Jun, was coming to visit!
“I have the best adventure planned!” Jun said with a grin as he tightened his backpack.
Lumo giggled. “As long as we stay together!”
The two cousins followed a winding trail through the Lotus Bamboo Forest. They crossed tiny streams, listened to birds sing, and counted colorful butterflies dancing in the breeze.
Soon, Jun spotted a tall rock.
“I bet I can climb to the top!” he exclaimed.
Without thinking, he started climbing.
Lumo remembered something Papa Bo always said:
“A calm heart thinks before it acts.”
“Wait, Jun!” Lumo called. “Let’s check if it’s safe first.”
Jun paused.
Together, they looked carefully around the rock. They noticed it was covered with slippery moss.
Jun scratched his head.
“Wow… I almost climbed without looking.”
Instead, the cousins found another rock nearby with a safe path to the top.
They climbed together, laughing all the way.
From the top, they could see the sparkling waterfall, blooming lotus flowers, and even Bao fluttering through the sky below.
“This adventure is even better because we did it together,” Jun smiled.
Lumo nodded.
“And because we stopped to think first!”
On the walk home, Jun wrapped an arm around his little cousin.
“Thanks for helping me make a smart choice today.”
Lumo smiled beneath his rainbow sunglasses.
“That’s what family is for.”
